We are blown away by what we’ve been able to achieve in the past 5 years and knew this day would come where things are changing but also not changing. Let us explain…
TLDR: Newcastle Film Club needs to change into a Limited Company by Guarantee that is Not for Profit in order to comply with HMRC taxes. Nothing is changing in how we deliver all that we do now. It allows us to do MORE for you and the wider filmmaking community while making the tax people happy!
Proposed Changes:
Newcastle Film Club and our current constitution will dissolve to become Newcastle Film Club Ltd.
Samantha (President), Alastair (Vice President) & Hazal (Treasurer) will be responsible for ensuring NFC is reporting tax correctly and at the right time.
Adoption of a Code of Conduct for current and future community members
