About the Event
Claire O’Brien is Course Leader for MA Animation at Teesside University and Coordinator of Animex Screen and will give a talk on what the university offers animators, vfx artists and filmmakers. Not only undergraduate and post-graduate courses but also the Summer and Winter courses that offer secret perks!
She will showcase the Animex Festival and its Animex Screen International Film Festival and pepper the talk with examples of animation and work from students, alumni and Screen entrants.
About Claire:
Claire O’Brien studied BA (Hons) Fine Art (Painting and Printmaking) at the University of East London. She worked as an artist exhibiting in the UK and Italy and her artwork has gone into private collections in the UK, USA, Australia and Canada. After gaining a Post-Graduate Diploma in Arts Management at Northumbria University she worked in arts organisations such as North Tyneside Arts, Monster Productions and Seven Stories.…
