About the Event
Come join us for an evening of filmic festivities and let's celebrate the end to a great year of Newcastle Film Club!
We begin our evening at 18:30 with a filmmaker marketplace, where you can come and schmooze with some of the prime North East businesses in and around the filmmaking world. Our current marketplace attendees include:
- Sunderland Shorts
- North East Filmmakers Society
- Kemble Creations
- Film Hub North
This will be followed by screening of our favourite challenge winner films from the past year, as well as a showcase of our latest B Movie challenge entries. If you have a trailer of a project you’ve been working on that you’d like to share, get in touch via email at newcastlefilmclub@gmail.com
The evening will be rounded off with a special performance by Gyest, a talented local folk band that includes resident composer, John Freer-Dalziel.

20:00 - Screening of NFC + Local filmmaker film trailers
21:30 - Music gig by Gyest
23:00 - End of event
Tickets are £5.00 + online card transaction fee. You can also purchase a ticket at the door using cash but we really encourage you to save your spot and purchase your ticket online!
Donation buckets will be available on the night for any additional and fully voluntary donations you may wish to make to the club. We'll also have Newcastle Film Club merch that you can purchase to further support us!
