The director and producer will be present to answer all questions relating to the making of this poignant true-life story of a girl who tells her parents she is leaving her Icelandic fishing village to go and live in California. Shot on 35mm film stock in the teeth of an Iceland winter, this is a movie that has high production values but which also falls firmly within the traditions and practices of Indy filmmaking, especially of the US kind, where NAPOLEON DYNAMITE and CLERKS were key inspirations for us.
