Where the Magpies Fly
Kyle, an avid NUFC fan, wants nothing more than to take his ailing grandfather to the last game of the season. To do that he must raise the funds to buy a ticket. What better way to do so than by singing his heart out?
“We used the NFC audio equipment for our film, which was an absolute godsend. Paired with the utilisation of many of the clubs members, this film only exists due to NFC resources."

The Production Process
Amy had this idea to make a John Lewis advert love letter to Newcastle United Football that celebrated the North East. She approached Newcastle Film Club for support and guidance on who to bring on to her crew to help production.
Chaff Productions also utilised the audio kit that the film club has for paying members to use for their projects.
Awards
Their film had a fantastic festival run winning categories such as Best International Short Film, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Score.
It also screened at North East Festivals
like Sunderland Shorts & Tees Valley International Film Festival
