Tale of the Witch

'Tale of the Witch' is a short fantasy comedy about two siblings looking for a lost mobile phone. Ralph (Scott Turnbull) and Jen (Amy Mains) come across a woman (Jacqueline Phillips) in the woods but is she a friendly local or the witch from their childhood nightmares?

“This film would not be possible without NFC's resources and the amazing Samantha Castro. Her help and support as a producer propelled me back into the world of filmmaking."

The Production Process

Cat was inspired by TV sit com 'Friday Night Dinner' and the 1990's film 'The Witches'. Equally, she was inspired by her siblings and their dark sense of humour and love of storytelling.
